  • Brooke Young Co-Owner


    Brooke Young, co-owner and a fitness instructor at Total Body Affinity Spa & Health Club, has devoted much of her life to physical fitness. As a graduate of Rhode Island College, Brooke was a member of the Rhode Island College Dance Company. She has continued to pursue her interest in fitness through dance as an instructor and choreographer at the Fusionworks Dance Academy. In addition to her extensive background in dance, Ms. Young holds a degree in Special Education and is currently employed by the Cumberland School Department as an elementary school teacher. Brooke is excited to help others actualize their fitness potential and inspire people to achieve their personal best at Total Body Affinity Spa & Health Club.

  • Christina DiBiasio Co-Owner


    Christina DiBiasio, co-owner of Total Body Affinity and Certified Personal Trainer, has been passionate about health and fitness from an early age. Ever since her first dance class at the age of eleven, Christina continued to pursue her interest in dance as a member of the Rhode Island College Dance Company and various other local dance troupes while obtaining her undergraduate degree in Health Education, Community Health and Dance performance. In addition to her full-time job as a science teacher at Classical High School in Providence, RI, Christina remains active in the dance community as a dance instructor at Fusionworks Dance Academy. Ms. DiBiasio also possesses her CPR Instructor certification through the Rhode Island Chapter of the Red Cross and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Brown University. Her primary focus is to assist and motivate others to achieve their ultimate health and fitness goals all of which can be attained at Total Body Affinity.

  • Michelle Soares Spa Manager – Aesthetician, Certified Cosmetologist, Lash Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer


    Michelle has been working in the salon industry since 2006 as a Nail Technician and Esthetician. She thoroughly enjoys all aspects of the industry but says the two things that are most rewarding are, making clients feel good about themselves, and being able to create a personal bond with each and every one of her clients.

    Services that Michelle offers: Manicures, gel manicures, spa pedicures, facials, and full body waxing. Her specialties are Brazilian Bikini waxing and gel manicures.

  • Lauren Saccoccio Skin Care Manager, Staff Development Specialist- Aesthetician, Lash Pro, Makeup Artist
  • Colleen Perry Fitness Class Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer


    Colleen is a certified personal trainer with a degree in Athletic Training. She holds certificates from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), from EFI Sports Medicine as a GRAVITY Instructor, and from USA Boxing as a Level 1 Boxing instructor. She has been working in the health and fitness arena for over 11 years designing personalized fitness programs that deliver maximum results for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Her specialties include weight loss/gain, body toning, strength, flexibility, balance, boxing, OCR training, and core stability. Her clients learn how to increase core strength, improve balance and athletic skills, and most importantly, feel better in their bodies. The key to success in fitness is not the method; it is the precise execution and consistency that gets results.

  • Melissa Carvalho Yoga Instructor


    Melissa Carvalho, MA, RYT has been a group fitness instructor since 2000, a humble yoga student since 2001, and a yoga teacher since 2010. Her education is in counseling and she believes yoga is the perfect instrument to address your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. Having been emotionally exhausted from our overworked culture in a former life, she is dedicated to using yoga as a tool to heal those who are in need of stress management and self-care. Melissa teaches a vinyasa flow style class which is inspired by her lifelong passion for dance. Class is enriched with inspirational quotes and hands on assists. Off the mat, Melissa is a devoted wife and mother, health coach, swing dancer, and lover of all things fitness.

  • Gina Corvese Fitness Class Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer


    Gina has always been involved in fitness in some way. Growing up she played basketball, softball and dance. Deciding to pursue an active career she went to the University of Rhode Island and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fitness and Wellness. She then decided to get her certification in Personal Training. Gina has been a certified personal trainer since 2004 through American Council on Exercise (ACE). In 2006 she became certified in Gravity Personal Training and Gravity Group Class and has been teaching ever since.

  • Jesus Berrio Licensed Massage Therapist


    Jesus Berrio: Jesus is an avid runner, and has experienced firsthand the benefits of sports specific massage techniques. His style of massage addresses major muscle groups with a firm, directed pressure and an understanding of the kinesiology of the muscles involved in your particular activity. His massage training, experience, and relaxed, comfortable style speak for themselves, along with lifelong experience as an athlete. This enables Jesus to personally relate to the needs of his clients. He is delighted at their physical gains and achievements—and can deeply empathize with personal frustrations, delays and disappointments caused by injury.

    Jesus has a slow and steady approach which also contributes to client emotional and mental wellbeing. He is happy to say that he really enjoys his work. He has fun…and believes this is why his clients find it easier to relax and enjoy their massage sessions! He is very passionate about massage and bodywork, and considers himself very fortunate to be in this profession. He graduated from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy and been a licensed massage therapist for over 17 years in the state of RI. He specializes in all aspects of massage therapy techniques. He offers Swedish, deep tissue, regional and sports massage modalities.”

  • Stephanie Kazanjian Yoga Instructor

    Stephanie’s journey to yoga started six years ago as she acquired her Masters of Business Administration and simultaneously was required to sit at a desk all day for work. With her spine and her mind needing a release she turned to yoga. As daily yoga classes began to restore her spinal health and reset her nervous system, she took a deeper interest in the use of asanas and pranayama to achieve focused results in the body. A perpetual learner by nature and yearning for more information, Stephanie completed her 200hr Yoga Alliance certification at Raffa Yoga. She enthusiastically changed her career and eagerly started teaching, focusing on the physical and mental benefits of tying breath to movement on and off the mat.

    Off her mat, Stephanie marvels at her daughters precociousness, adores her witty husband, cooks zealously, reads feverishly and meditates regularly.
