Meet Tayla Regan, one of our personal fitness clients who watched her body transform into the best version of herself. She shared her story with us and we thought you would be inspired by her journey.

“Like many others, my story began with the frustration of increasing numbers on the scale, clothes that started to feel too tight, and a never-ending fatigue. I have always been overweight, so these daily annoyances were my “normal.” I made a promise to myself that I would never reach 200 pounds, but when I did, I knew that something had to change.

I saw the personal training sign at Total Body Affinity every day on my commute, so I decided to take the plunge and walk in. As Ken walked me through the beautiful gym and explained the dual training/nutrition process, I knew this was the place where I needed to be. I had so much faith this would work, even though nothing else had. The process wasn’t easy at first, especially when I ran into a medical condition that forced me to stop training for 2 months. During that time I realized how much even one month of training had already made an impact on me-both physically and mentally. Training gave me a sanctuary- a place that brought me so much clarity and sanity. Upon returning to my personal training, I became stronger than ever! I’ve now lost 56 pounds, dropping me from a size 14 to a size 4!

With the support from Ken, the staff at TBA, and fellow clients in the gym, I’ve truly never been healthier and more confident. I can now say that I’m in the best physical, emotional, and mental health state that I’ve ever been in my life. Although I can never truly put into words how much Ken and the personal training program at TBA means to me, I can honestly say my life is changed for the better.”
